Now that the April 8, 2024 Eclipse has passed I would like to share some thoughts

Let me provide a little background.

I started giving reading when I was a teenager, (think Wednesday of the Adam’s family). I don’t give happy horsesh**t readings or tell people what they want to hear. I do have a dumbass tax for people that repeatedly ask for astrological information and then don’t take it.

I was blessed and am very grateful to have had a community that allowed me to learn with each reading and I am still learning.

That being said.

The internet has been both a boon and a curse for Astrology and the metaphysical arts. When I started giving readings there were a few tarot decks and now there are hundreds. Astrology books were hard to come by and I devoured every book I could find. Again, I was blessed with kind individuals who gave me tarot decks that they didn’t use and books they didn’t want. Now there are volumes of astrology books written by world-class astrologers covering every aspect from mundane to esoteric. Project Hindsight has translated the ancient tomes of Hellenistic Astrologers; Vettius Valens (160 CE), Ptolemy (150 CE), Paulus Alexandrines (378 CE), and more. The world of astrology has expanded; you can now attend astrological schools, conferences, and retreats. I could live many more lifetimes and not learn all there is to know.

Standing next to all this brilliant cacophony of astrological scholarly knowledge is someone on TikTok/Facebook/Instagram/Youtube telling people about the magic portal being opened by whatever transit is currently about to happen.

And my head wants to explode.

Please don’t give these frauds your time and not your money. Today’s eclipse brought with it a multitude of “predictions.” I understand and sympathize that we live in capitalism and people need a money-making shtick. Both the “hooey phooey” hope opium and the irresponsible fear factor predictions that can be big money makers do not serve people interested in what authentic astrology has to offer.

I would like to invite you to follow me in my upcoming posts, I am going to walk you through how to delineate and hopefully de-mystify how to do astrological prediction.

The Great American April 8th total Solar Eclipse in Aries

Solar Eclipse April 8, 2024, Sun/Moon 19’ Aries 24 2:20 pm EDT/ 11:20 am PDT

Another Eclipse???

Yes, eclipses come in pairs. We just had a Lunar eclipse on March 25th and now we are about to have a Solar eclipse. A Solar eclipse happens when the Moon’s shadow crosses the Earth’s surface. This occurs during a New Moon and the Sun and the Moon are almost always astrologically in the same sign.

The internet has been buzzing for weeks about this total Solar Eclipse. You can visit https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/map/2024-april-8 to learn more and view the Path Map. The path of totality will run through Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

There are several reasons to get excited about this eclipse. The day before the moon will be perigee (closest approach) so during the eclipse the Moon will look much larger than usual. The maximum length of totality anywhere on Earth will be 4 minutes 28 seconds, that’s considered a long time! The sky will darken enough that you will be able to see Venus and Jupiter. ( Venus SW to the right of the Sun. Jupiter SE to the left of the Sun). The other big eclipse news is that the April 8th total eclipse path will cross the 2017 total eclipse path. The paths meet in Paducah, Kentucky!

The sign Aries dominates both the March 25th & April 8th eclipses. Aries, a masculine action-oriented cardinal fire sign is considered the trailblazer of the zodiac. Ruled by Mars, the god of war Aries is confident, assertive, bold, and impulsive. When an individual with strong Aries placements has not developed a healthy relationship with their ego Aries can become a narcissistic entitled wrecking ball of toxic masculinity. ( regardless of your gender)

The Solar eclipse chart finds a concentration of Aries energy.  The Sun, Moon, and Chiron are tightly conjoined at 19 degrees, the North Node at 15, Mercury retrograde at 24’, and Venus at 4 degrees.

Typically, Aries New Moon will initiate change, and offer new beginnings, we feel like we can make anything happen, and are filled with inspired positive “get it done” energy. This New Moon is different.

First, the Mercury is retrograde and we need to avoid jumping to conclusions, or making any important decisions right now. Instead, we are best served by using this New Moon eclipse to do some introspective soul-searching. The theme of this tightly joined Sun/Moon/Chiron focuses on how to have a healthy relationship with our authentic selves. The Chiron in Aries so close to the Sun/Moon suggests that the solar identity, the ego, and the lunar identity, emotional and instinctual subconscious have unresolved trauma that needs to be addressed before we can own the positive attributes of Aries such as confidence and self-reliance.

The Solar Eclipse chart is deeply influenced by the Chiron, which is conjunct with both Luminaries (Sun/Moon). Chiron, the mythical wounded healer Centaur leads us to a path of healing or when his lessons are resisted, we continue on the path of suffering. All sentient beings share the commonality of souls in bodies experiencing human frailty of sickness, loss, and death. When Chiron is prominent, we are offered an opportunity to heal and help heal others. If we refuse to do the difficult work of healing, we can continue to wound ourselves and others.

Have we grown from “Puer Aeternus”; the divine child to a functioning adult balancing animus/anima? Are we brave enough to explore our weaknesses? How can we correct course? Do we take responsibility for our actions, and own our mistakes? Do we have a good balance of personal autonomy/ interdependence? Do we have healthy self-esteem or do we suffer from low self-esteem? After the Mercury has gone direct on April 25th, we can move forward and initiate any insights we discovered during the Solar Eclipse. We can confidently move forward making new plans, starting new projects, and implementing improvements.

Remember: Eclipses are particularly important when they take place at a degree that is exact or near to a planet or on angles in your Natal chart or progressed chart (consult your Astrologer). When eclipse degrees are activated in your chart the effects can last from six months to a year depending on the strength and duration of the eclipse. Eclipses are closely associated with world events. To know if this eclipse will be significant for you check your Natal, Progressed, and Solar charts for planets in cardinal signs. ( Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn) Or ask your astrologer.

“It is a wise person who rules the stars, a fool who is ruled by them.”

Strike A Balance ~ The Lunar Eclipse March 25, 2024 at 05’ Libra/ 07 Sun 05 Aries 07 ~

The March 25th Penumbral Lunar Eclipse at 05’ Libra will be visible in most of  Europe, North/East Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, South America, the Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic, and Antarctica. (See timeanddate.com for Path Map and times)

What happens during a penumbral eclipse

The Moon will darken but not completely disappear as she travels through the Earth’s shadow. The Moon will pass into the outer part of the Earth’s shadow (called the penumbra) and the Moon will miss the darker, inner part of the Earth’s shadow (called the umbra).

In other words, The Moon traverses Earth’s penumbral shadow but the Moon misses Earth’s umbral shadow.

Eclipses are tracked, each eclipse belongs to a Saros cycle. A Saros period is almost 19 years ( 18 years and 9 to 11 days depending on leap years) after which the Sun, Moon, and Earth return to approximately the same position causing a nearly identical eclipse. The March 25, 2024, eclipse belongs to Saros cycle #113 which last occurred on March 14, 2006, and will occur again on April 5, 2042! (See NASA’s website https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/LEsaros/LEsaros113.html). Also, this eclipse belongs to a series of six Aries/Libra eclipses focusing on building emotional self-sufficiency and self-confidence.  (The next eclipse in this series happens on 4/8/24)

Eclipses are significant when they take place at a degree that is exact or near to a planet or on angles in your Natal, Progressed, or Solar charts (consult your Astrologer). When eclipse degrees are activated in your chart the effects can last from six months to a year depending on the strength and duration of the eclipse. Eclipses are closely associated with world events. To know if this eclipse will be significant for you check your chart for planets in Cardinal signs  (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) and check what houses the Sun Aries and Moon Libra will occupy. This eclipse will significantly affect people born with Cardinal signs and angles from 0’- 10’ degrees. If this eclipse affects your Natal, Solar, or Progressed chart, you could experience some lessons around Aries/ Libra hot topics.

To make this Eclipse work we need to Strike A Balance

Lunar eclipses help ‘illuminate or magnify”  issues that are hidden beneath the surface. This eclipse chart has a bucket formation. This is when a collection of planets huddles together in the bucket and a single planet, the handle is in opposition. This formation can be difficult to manage. The handle usually becomes the focus of the chart.

In this chart, the Sun Aries is in the bucket and the Libra Moon is isolated as the handle, carrying the bucket. Oppositions provide contrast, the Aries/Libra axis seeks to balance personal needs with the needs of others. This opposition can magnify conflicts and expose challenges regarding balancing the Sun Aries ( Me needs) attributes of assertiveness, confidence, and leadership with the gentler more compromising, friendly, and agreeable influence of the Moon in Libra (Us needs). Can we balance our need for independence and autonomy with the needs of others? Can we meet our own needs and acknowledge, be present, and be accountable for our shared responsibilities with others?

This chart’s bucket formation makes the handle of the Libra Moon the dominant planet. If your chart is making connections to this eclipse, Libra issues will be the focal point. Moon in Libra seeks harmonious relationships, is naturally sociable, and is a skillful diplomate. Moon in Libra dislikes conflict and during this transit, we can find it difficult to set boundaries. Vibrant Sun Aries is part of the bundle formation. The Sun is muted and weak due to being close to divinely inspired but emotionally sensitive Neptune in late degrees of her ruling sign Pisces. This can add up to a lot of pent-up passive-aggressive energy. Find positive ways to use this energy or this eclipse might be too hot to handle.

What is a Wild Mercury Astrology Reading Like?

“Maire Wahosi of Wild Mercury Astrology shared her extensive knowledge and insight with me with her detailed, care-driven assessment of my 2024 Solar Return including Progressions and Transits.  With information from my Birth Chart, I was provided a detailed written report of important astrological events for the year to come. I had been feeling that the upcoming year would be impactful for me on many personal and spiritual levels. Maire listened to my requests and questions and recommended the Solar Return reading which confirmed what I had been sensing about 2024. She then provided full-color astrological charts and a mapped-out written report of important astrological transits likely to affect me this year. Even more helpful was her two-part live video consultation where she shared extensive and clear messages that helped educate me further on astrology and centered my specific needs for the upcoming year. She generously gave of her time, knowledge, intuition, and insight to fully answer my questions in a personal and uplifting way. I am so very grateful for the attention and care she provides to seekers like myself and wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone who could benefit from her detailed and intentional guidance. Thank you, Maire!” -Rich, Stanley, Virginia

Is A Revolution in Motion Now that Pluto has Moved into Aquarius?

Pluto in Aquarius ~ A Preview
The Revolution Will Not Be Televised
On January 20, 2024, Pluto re-entered the zodiac sign of Aquarius. It will be a brief stay, on September 1st Pluto backtracks into Capricorn for one final hurrah. Then on November 19 Pluto will be staying in Aquarius for 20 years, until January 19, 2044!

In 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IUA) demoted the ninth planet from the Sun. Pluto now is classified as a Dwarf planet. Planets are defined as celestial objects large enough to have been made rounded by their gravitational orbit and their orbital dominance clears the space surrounding the planet’s orbit. Pluto is not large enough to exert its orbital dominance and is one of five dwarf planets in our Solar System. It takes Pluto 248 years to complete one full cycle around the Sun.

For the purpose of astrology, Pluto is very much considered a planet and can exert a powerful influence in our collective experience and is often a profound teacher in natal and progressed charts. Pluto provides transformational experiences at the deepest levels of consciousness. Intense, and destructive, Pluto destroys outdated, decayed, and corrupted governments, institutions, and relationships, and as a Phoenix rises from the ashes to be reborn. Pluto offers opportunities for growth through brutal honesty, reaching inside our psyche and shedding light on our inner demons, exposing our weaknesses, and uncovering our strengths. Pluto cleanses and eliminates allowing renewal, and new beginnings.
The negative aspects of Pluto often play out in the collective as power struggles, the rise of tyrannical and authoritarian governments, wars, pandemics, and the fall of long-standing empires.

The last time that Pluto was in Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798. When we want to see how an outer planet such as Pluto will manifest when it enters a new sign, we look to see what happened the last time the planet transited in that zodiac sign. A quick look at The Timetables of History from 1777 to 1798 chronicles several events that would change the destiny of humanity. Both the American and French revolutions would inspire other countries to break free from monarchies. Serfdom was abolished in Bohemia, Hungary, and Denmark. Whereas, Russia and France abolished slavery. In Western Europe and The Americas, enlightened thinkers; Quakers, and evangelical religious groups began an abolition movement to try and dismantle slavery. The zeitgeist of this time period clearly favored the overthrow of monarchies and expanding the dignity of humans. This twenty-year period also saw the invention of the hot air balloon, steam engines, cotton gin, and the smallpox vaccine.

How to use an Astrological Calendar

Welcome to 2024

Are you interested in learning more about astrology? Would you like to understand how to use astrology daily to help you be prepared for astrological events?  I have some suggestions for you. No, do not read your monthly Sun Sign astrology in the newspaper. Instead, you can go ahead and purchase a Daily Planetary Guide. There are so many nowadays! Some of my favorites are:

  1. The Magic of I Astrological Planner. The design is beautiful and it offers an astrological reference guide, planetary movements, retrogrades, Moon phases, and a planting guide, a planetary ephemeris for the year. And much much more. It’s pricey but if you enjoy using a planner it’s worth it.
  2. Since Jim Maynard retired and no longer publishes his phenomenal astrology calendar I have switched to Llewellyn’s Daily Planetary Guide. It’s reasonably priced and it includes all the information you need to follow the Sun, Moon, and the planets as they move throughout the year.
  3. If you are a serious student of Astrology I highly recommend the Honeycomb Collective Personal Astrological Almanac. You can add asteroids, Hellenistic Zodiacal Releasing, and Lots, or add your Solar Return. They offer a wall calendar and you can receive both the almanac and calendar digitally.

4. For our pagan sisters I would recommend the Astro Moon Diary published by Astrocal. Offers a mix of information about astrology, astronomy, and the Pagan Solar and Cross Quarter Festivals.

The Fall/ Winter 2023 Mercury Retrograde

When Mercury goes retrograde, we often experience difficulties, delays, and frustrations with travel, communication, and technology. By knowing when Mercury goes retrograde, we can save ourselves a lot of headaches. We can prepare to meet the coming challenges.

Spend the retrograde reevaluating, reviewing, and completing projects. Ideally, Mercury retrograde is a fertile time to work with creative and spiritual energies. When we go with the flow of the retrograde things tend to go better. It is helpful to know the sign that Mercury is in while retrograde. The sign tells us “the mood” and behavior the retrograde period will exhibit.

Try to take preventive measures at least three weeks before Mercury goes retrograde. For example: take your car or computer for repairs or upkeep three weeks before the retrograde starts. Please wait until Mercury has gone direct for three weeks before starting any new projects.

When Mercury retrograde transits connect to your Natal, Solar, or Progressed charts Mercury issues; particularly, communications issues can become very challenging. When our Natal, Solar, or Progressed charts experience a connection to a transit(s) it is recommended that you ask your astrologer how the transit(s) will affect you. This is why it is a good idea to have a yearly astrological review.

To learn more about the Mercury Retrograde cycle please see my blog post: “Understanding Mercury and the Mercury Retrograde Cycle” https://wildmercury.biz/understanding-me…retrograde-cycle/

The Fall / Winter Mercury Retrograde will start on 12/12/23 in Capricorn and fall back into Sagittarius on 12/23/23. Astrologically the Earth element is grounded, sensible, and practical, all the earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are comfortable with details, routines, structures, and societal rules. Whereas the Fire element is enthusiastic, inspirational, and energetic, all the fire signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are passionate, impulsive, and optimistic.

Capricorn is a feminine, cardinal, earth sign studious and responsible. Capricorn’s energy is pragmatic and will work tirelessly to achieve goals and objectives. When Mercury falls backward into fiery and impatient Sagittarius the shift can feel uncomfortable and more challenging, especially because of holiday travel and the high probability of dangerous and frustrating weather events.

During the Mercury retrograde in Capricorn take the time to re-evaluate how attached you are to your daily routines and habits. Are these routines and structures serving your best interest or are they holding you back? Use the Capricorn portion of this retrograde to reorganize and reexamine priorities regarding work and personal goals. This would be a good time to find ways to manage your time better and investigate how you can work smarter. Focus on finding ways to improve or expand your job skills. Investigate ways that you can transform your work/career to find more fulfillment and purpose.

Mercury Sagittarius thrives on knowledge, personal principles, and a quest for freedom. Optimistic but often lacking in organizational skills, Mercury in Sagittarius is considered a weak placement for the intellectually focused winged messenger. Enthusiastic and philosophical Mercury Sagittarius loves a good debate, engaging in a variety of topics. During the time that Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius rethink your attachment to ideas, religious or political, and critically examine rigid and judgmental or biased beliefs. Avoid the weaknesses of Mercury retrograde; impetuous speech, self-aggrandizing, and irresponsible behaviors.

The Retrograde Cycle

The pre-shadow: starts: on November 25 at 22’ Sagittarius

Mercury Stations to Retrograde: December 12 at 8’ Capricorn

Remember the Do and Do NOT Do List for Mercury Retrograde

  • Do check and recheck travel plans, schedules, and appointments
  • Do review, re-do, review, tie up loose ends, repair
  • Do fix what was broken during the last retrograde
  • Do double-check written documents or calculations
  • DO NOT SIGN CONTRACTS, DO NOT buy big-ticket items, electronics, cars
  • Do not start a new project, take a new job, or avoid doing anything last-minute
  • If you must make a purchase, send important packages, or travel purchase insurance
  • Plan ahead, give yourself extra time to arrive at your destination or finish projects

Use the present well

The Last Eclipse of 2023 ~ October 28 Partial Lunar Eclipse @ 5′ Taurus / Scorpio

October 28, 2023, Partial Lunar Eclipse @ 5 Taurus/ Scorpio  (ET 4:24 pm/ PT 1:24 pm)

People Most Affected by this Eclipse:

0 to 10 degrees of all fixed signs and the very last degrees of Cardinal signs

Lunar Message: Clean your house physically, financially, metaphorically, and emotionally

Fun Fact: This Lunar Eclipse Saros Cycle is #146 and the last time it happened was on October 17, 2005.

There are two types of eclipses involving our Sun and Moon. A Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon’s shadow crosses the Earth’s surface. This occurs during a New Moon and the Sun and the Moon are astrologically in the same sign. ( October 14 was this type) The Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth’s shadow, this happens during a Full Moon.

Eclipses are particularly important when they take place at a degree that is exact or near to a planet or on angles in your Natal, Solar, or Progressed chart (consult your Astrologer). When eclipse degrees are activated in your chart the effects last from six months to a year depending on the strength and duration of the eclipse.

October’s second eclipse will occur this Saturday at 1:24 p.m. PT.  This will be a partial eclipse that happens when the Moon comes between the Sun & Earth, but only partially covers the Sun. The Moon casts the outer part of its shadow on the Earth. It will look like the Moon has taken a bite out of the Sun. This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will take place @ 5’ of Taurus/ Scorpio. According to the website Time and Date  (Partial Lunar Eclipse on October 28–29, 2023 – Where and When to See ) this eclipse will be visible in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, much of South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic, and Antarctica.

The Sun will be in Scorpio opposite the Moon in Taurus. Scorpio is a fixed water sign that often experiences challenges surrounding how they cope with and manage deeply intense feelings and primal intuition. When Scorpio feels comfortable “in their skin” they can listen to their intuition and trust the knowledge they receive. A healthy Scorpio has developed emotional mastery has learned who to trust and has the courage to share intimacy and honesty with partners and confidants. Scorpio rules shared resources and seeks transformational experiences.  A healthy Scorpio is drawn to understanding the deeper meaning of emotions, and intimacy, and is not afraid to dive into “taboo” subjects or disrupt the status quo.

The unhealthy Scorpio can suffer from anxiety, can experience paranoia, and can obsess about the motives of others. They can be controlling, possessive, and manipulative using gaslighting, or guilt-tripping techniques to use others or they use sex, food, money, and possessions to gain “power” and control over others.

The Moon will be in Taurus, a feminine earth sign that seeks tangible security and comfort from the material world. Taurus rules possessions, personal wealth, and values. The Moon enjoys being grounded in earthy, sensual, and practical Taurus. A full Moon in Taurus wants to illuminate what is hidden beneath the surface, but Scorpio will not give up its secrets willingly.

The Lunar Eclipse chart sees a great difference in perspectives. The combination of the Sun, Mercury, and Mars all in Scorpio can be aggressive, and reckless. These planets in close conjunction would rather “fight than switch”.  There is a tight opposition to the Moon and Jupiter as well as fading squares to Scorpio’s ruler, Pluto. Together this can be a very explosive combination. Emotions can run high, which can spark disagreements and clashes around beliefs and morals. The stubborn nature of Taurus and Scorpio suggests nothing will be resolved. The intense emotional energy winds down as the full moon recedes.

October 14 Annular Solar Eclipse 21 Libra

October 14, 2023, Annular Solar Eclipse New Moon 21 Libra 08

Eastern Time 1:55 pm Pacific Time 10:55 am

There are two types of eclipses involving our Sun and Moon. A Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon’s shadow crosses the Earth’s surface. This occurs during a New Moon and the Sun and the Moon are astrologically in the same sign. The Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth’s shadow, this happens during a Full Moon.

Eclipses are tracked, each eclipse belongs to a Saros cycle. A Saros period is almost 19 years ( 18 years and 9 to 11 days depending on leap years) after which the Sun, Moon, and Earth return to approximately the same position causing a nearly identical eclipse.

Eclipses are closely associated with world events but can be significant to individuals if the eclipse takes place at a degree that is exact or near to a planet or angle in your Natal, Solar, or Progressed charts. (Consult your Astrologer) When eclipse degrees are activated in your chart the effects last from six months to a year depending on the strength and duration of the eclipse.

On October 14 there will be a Solar Eclipse both the Sun and Moon will be at 21 Libra.  Eclipses come in pairs, a Solar eclipse always occurs about two weeks before or after a Lunar eclipse. The second eclipse will occur on October 28, 2023, and that will be a partial Lunar Eclipse. ( I will post about it later)

This annular eclipse is viewable from Oregon to Brazil. Go to Solar Eclipse 2023 — Annular Eclipse, October 14 to view the path of the eclipse.

What’s important to know about this Eclipse

Some important astrological events are happening in the lead-up to Saturday’s Solar eclipse. Tonight Pluto, the guardian of the underworld, in the last degrees of Capricorn will go direct heading slowly towards entering Aquarius this coming January. We should feel and see a shift from introspection and suppression to exposure and confrontation regarding Pluto/Capricorn issues around the “unchecked power” of governments, bureaucracies, corporations, and powerful organizations. Pluto provides transformational experiences at the deepest levels of consciousness. Intense, and destructive, Pluto destroys outdated decayed, and corrupted governments, institutions, and relationships, and as a Phoenix rises from the ashes to be reborn. Pluto offers opportunities for growth through brutal honesty, reaching inside our psyche and shedding light on our inner demons, exposing our weaknesses, and uncovering our strengths. Pluto cleanses and eliminates allowing renewal, and new beginnings. Pluto Capricorn’s goodbye message to humanity will be significant. I will be posting more about this later.

Tomorrow, October 11, Mars, the god of war enters his own sign of Scorpio and will add emotional intensity to world events. Mars Scorpio heightens psychic awareness, has an uncanny ability to ferret out secrets, and can be relentless in achieving goals.

In the evening on Thursday, October 12 the Moon will enter Libra we might become more energetic as we head to Saturday’s Solar Eclipse.

This Solar Eclipse has a strong Libra influence (Sun, Moon, South Node, Mercury)  putting the focus on interpersonal relationships, seeking compromise and connection with others.

This Summer the North & South Nodes shifted into Aries/Libra offering lessons about moving from codependent “people pleaser” the negative expression of Libra to the North Node Aries ‘ inner warrior”. With this Eclipse the Sun and the Moon are conjunct the South Node in Libra and opposite the Chiron and North Node in Aries. Opposition requires that we strike a balance if we don’t the situation becomes awkward and uncomfortable and there can be conflict.  The Solar eclipse opposition is asking us to try and understand another point of view, to communicate mutual needs, and to balance our very personal wounds (Chiron/ North Node Aries) and the personal and emotional needs of others. ( Sun/Moon/Mercury/South Node Libra).

If your Natal, Solar, or Progressed charts have planets or angles in Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn between 11’ to 29’ degrees this Solar Eclipse could be significant for you and you could experience some lessons around Aries and Libra themes.

I always suggest that people have their charts read at least once a year so that their astrologer can check to see if their charts will be activated by major planetary shifts and Solar or Lunar eclipses.

South Node Libra & North Node Aries Lessons

The Past – The Codependent

South Node in Libra indicates an individual who has relied on interpersonal relationships at the expense of their own personal development. In their past life, they would seek approval or validation from others, and a great deal of effort went towards being a  “people pleaser”. The South Node in Libra while charming and sociable can be indecisive and have a fear of being alone and will compromise to avoid conflict. Having a South Node Libra means that in your past life relationships have been very important to you, you have been a supportive and loving partner, surrounding yourself in a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing environment but have neglected to develop your own identity.

This Life Time “ The Warrior”

North Node in Aries sets out on a journey of self-discovery, this placement needs to explore their identity, develop inner confidence, and self-reliance, and find the courage to take risks and explore new opportunities independently. Once the North Node Aries have found their ”Inner Warrior” they can be bold, ambitious, aggressive, and selfish. North Node Aries can struggle to develop self-control and channel their anger and frustration in healthy ways. An important lesson for North Node Aries is to learn how to communicate their needs and desires and work on finding ways to balance their needs with the needs of others.

Get Ready ~ MERCURY RETROGRADE IS COMING

Summer Mercury retrograde Aug. 23 to Sept. 15 in the earth sign Virgo.

When Mercury goes retrograde, we often experience difficulties, delays, and frustrations with travel, communication, and technology. By knowing when Mercury goes retrograde, we can save ourselves a lot of headaches. We can prepare to meet the coming challenges.

To learn more about the Mercury Retrograde cycle please see the blog post: “Understanding Mercury and the Mercury Retrograde Cycle”. https://wildmercury.biz/understanding-me…retrograde-cycle/

Astrologically the Earth element is practical, all the earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are comfortable with details, routines, structures, and societal rules.

This Mercury Retrograde will spend the whole cycle in Virgo. Virgo is a feminine, mutable earth sign. Virgo is known for being an analytical critical thinker that is detailed oriented and a pragmatic problem solver.

During this Mercury retrograde take the time to re-evaluate how attached you are to your daily routines and habits. Are these routines and structures serving your best interest or are they holding you back? Virgo is ruled by Mercury and is work and service-oriented. Virgo has a keen eye for details so this retrograde is an excellent time to reorganize and reexamine our priorities. This would be a good time to find ways to manage your time better and investigate how you can work smarter.
